Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu successfully celebrated its Thanksgiving & Installation Ceremony 2026 at Hotel Aranya, Naxal, Kathmandu, together with the Rotaract Club of Bagmati and Inner Wheel Club of Bagmati.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala, District Council of Governors, District officials, Rotary leaders, club members, and distinguished guests.
During the program, outgoing President Rtn. Saroj Bajracharya reflected on his one-year journey as the President of Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu for Rotary Year 2025/26. He highlighted the club’s achievements, fellowship activities, and various community service projects successfully conducted during his tenure. He expressed his gratitude to all club members, partners, and supporters for their continuous support and commitment towards making a positive impact in the community.
As part of the official transition, President Rtn. Saroj Bajracharya handed over the club collar, bell, and charter certificate to the incoming President Rtn. Nilan Mahat, wishing him a successful and impactful tenure ahead.
The newly installed President Rtn. Nilan Mahat delivered his acceptance speech and shared his vision and commitment for the upcoming Rotary Year. The installation ceremony continued with the oath-taking ceremony conducted by Charter President, followed by the oath administration to the new Board Members.
The event also featured inspiring remarks from District Governor Elect (DGE) Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karki and District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala, who appreciated the club’s contributions and encouraged continued dedication towards Rotary’s mission of service.
The official program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by President Elect Rtn. Keshav Thokkar. The evening continued with a fellowship gathering and cocktail dinner, celebrating the successful completion of Rotary Year 2025/26 and welcoming the new leadership team.
