Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu Handed over/distributedWhite Stick equivalent of Rupees 80,000.


Rotary Club of Bagmati Kathmandu handed over 100 pieces of White Sticks equivalent of Rs.80,000 to Bright Star Society, an organization working for visually imparted people; in a function organized at J & J Health academy, Thapathali on December 3, 2024, the World Disability Day. President of Rotary club of Bagmati Kathmandu Rotarian Manik Ratna Shakya handed over the white sticks to the Chairmaen of the Society Mr. Basudev Adhikari, who is also one of the visually imparted person. President Shakya also distributed white sticks to the visually imparted people presented in the function. Presiend shakya said in the function that the program of handing over of white sticks were not budgeted, it was contributed by more that 20 members withspecial contribution from Rotarian Birendra Kumar Shah. Similarly chairman of the society Mr. Basudev Adhikari said that the support of white stick will help them to meet the demand of white stick from different parts of the country.
